Job summary

Artis Recruitment is seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant to join a North Bristol business in the Lyde Green area. You will go beyond reporting to explain why results occurred and what to expect next, supporting planning, reporting and analysis across the organisation.

You will collaborate with budget holders and stakeholders, using Excel and Power BI to deliver clear narratives and drive improvements in reporting and performance.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
• Experience leading budgeting and forecasting processes and challenging assumptions.
• Proven ability to develop and present management reports to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and insightful management accounts and financial reports.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, challenge assumptions and highlight trends.
• Perform detailed financial analysis to identify opportunities, risks, variances and improvement areas.
• Investigate performance against budget and forecast, turning variances into business insights.
• Support year-end financial reporting and ensure data is complete and delivered on time.
• Develop financial models to support planning and decision-making.
