Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting a Management Accountant to support the Finance Director in delivering top-class financial management, budgeting and forecasting for the Trust. The role requires strong accounting qualifications and experience within education or public sector settings.

You will report to the Finance Director, prepare management accounts, and provide timely financial information to Principals and budget holders. Travel across sites may be required.

Qualifications

• CCAB/CIMA/ACCA/CIPFA qualified accountant with strong management accounting experience.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting for complex organisations.
• Ability to interpret and present complex financial information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support the Finance Director in delivering high-quality financial management, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial control.
• Provide accurate financial information and analysis to inform decision-making across the Trust.
• Build robust financial controls and contribute to continuous improvement.
