Job summary

Associated British Ports (ABP) in Immingham is hiring a Project Controller to develop, maintain and manage robust project schedules across multiple major projects. You will provide accurate progress reports to support informed decisions, collaborating with regional teams and functions to adapt to local contexts.

The role demands strong planning, coordination and attention to detail, with experience in baselining, risk management and governance to ensure budgets and schedules stay on track.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management from conception to delivery.
• Strong planning, coordination and attention to detail.
• Able to interpret schedules, flowcharts and action plans.
• Familiarity with risk management and QA controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain baseline and live project programmes using Primavera P6 / Asta Powerproject / MS Project.
• Integrate cost, risk, procurement, and resource data into project schedules.
• Monitor programme progress, identify critical path impacts, and assess schedule risk.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, commercial teams, and subcontractors.
• Ensure schedule governance aligns with contractual and internal controls.
• Support PMs across the project portfolio in managing plans, budgets and expenditures.
• Own and manage the administration of multiple core Project Controls processes.
