You will drive improvement across the safeguarding system, support the Independent Chair and coordinate the board’s work programme with partners from local government, health, police and the voluntary sector.

• Degree-level qualification is essential.
• Experience in safeguarding, social care, health, governance or related field valued.
• Transferable leadership, partnership and improvement experience welcomed.

• Lead day-to-day delivery of the Safeguarding Adults Board's work programme.
• Provide expert safeguarding advice to senior partners.
• Coordinate multi-agency audits, performance reporting and quality assurance activity.
• Oversee Safeguarding Adults Reviews (SARs) and ensure learning improves outcomes.
• Build strong partnerships across agencies and sectors.
• Manage Board budget, communications and business support staff.
• Ensure voices of people with lived experience influence safeguarding priorities.
