Succession Wealth, part of the Aviva Group, is seeking a Head of Risk and Financial Crime to shape risk frameworks across its advice and investment businesses in a regulated environment. This senior role leads second-line risk, collaborates with the Chief Risk Officer and boards, and champions robust risk culture.

The successful candidate will oversee AML, sanctions, fraud, due diligence and monitoring, drive risk reporting, remediation, and talent development within a high-performing team,

Qualifications

• Senior risk or financial crime leadership within wealth management or regulated financial services.
• Broad enterprise risk, operational risk, controls, assurance and financial crime knowledge.
• Strong understanding of FCA expectations, including Consumer Duty, SM&CR, operational resilience and financial crime requirements.
• Credibility to advise Executive teams, Boards and senior stakeholders.
• Experience leading specialist teams and creating growth and ownership in team members.

Responsabilités

• Lead second-line Risk and Financial Crime frameworks with independent oversight.
• Advise the Chief Risk Officer, Executive Committee and Boards with risk reporting and insights.
• Oversee AML, sanctions, fraud, bribery and customer due diligence.
• Ensure risks, incidents and weaknesses are identified and remediated.
• Develop and lead a high-performing Risk and Financial Crime team.
