Job summary

The Care Inspectorate is seeking an exceptional executive director of assurance and improvement to shape the future of care quality in Scotland. Qualifications

• Degree level (or equivalent) with a professional qualification in social work, health, education or public protection.
• Proven strategic leadership and ability to drive organisational change.
• Extensive experience in inspection, regulation and improvement of care services.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Scrutiny, Regulation, Assurance and Improvement strategy.
• Oversee budgets, performance and governance reporting.
• Champion equality, diversity and inclusion across the directorate.
• Engage with Ministers, Government and stakeholders.
