Job summary

MAG (Airports Group) seeks an experienced Head of Assurance & Compliance to lead and evolve the company’s risk-based assurance framework. Reporting to the Strategy & Governance Director, you will provide independent second-line oversight across a growing global business, partnering with MAG Audit, Cyber Security and Data Protection teams.

Qualifications

• Strong governance, compliance and risk management knowledge.
• Experience designing and implementing control frameworks and assurance programmes.
• Excellent communication and ability to present at executive level.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the Assurance & Compliance framework and second-line operating model.
• Develop risk-based assurance programmes aligned to regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate design and effectiveness of controls, processes and procedures.
• Identify control weaknesses, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide challenge and assurance to senior leaders while maintaining independence.
• Lead assurance reviews and communicate findings to governance forums.
• Monitor remediation actions and ensure issues are tracked and resolved.
• Champion compliance with internal policies and industry standards including GDPR, PCI DSS and CCPA.
• Support external certifications and regulatory compliance.
