Job summary

St Andrews Hospice is seeking an experienced manager to lead the Family Support, Spiritual Care and Bereavement Service teams in North East Lincolnshire and surrounding catchment areas. You will oversee emotional, practical, social, spiritual, and bereavement support for patients, families and carers, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care.

The role requires a postgraduate qualification and ongoing registration/accreditation with the relevant professional body, with a focus on service

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in Social Work, Counselling, Chaplaincy, Health & Social Care, or other relevant discipline.
• Professional registration/accreditation with the corresponding body.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the Family Support, Spiritual Care and Bereavement Service teams.
• Support staff, volunteers and students to deliver emotional, practical, social, spiritual, and bereavement support.
• Hold a caseload relevant to qualification and expertise.
• Develop and coordinate services to meet diverse client needs.
• Ensure high-quality, compassionate and person-centred care for patients, families and those affected by bereavement.
