The role leads strategic development for the region's vibrant creative sector, guiding policy, investment and partnership work to deliver growth and high-value jobs.

You will build cross-sector alliances with businesses, universities and public partners, secure funding opportunities, and champion the region's creative strengths.

Qualifications

• Significant experience of developing and delivering sector growth strategies.
• Strong knowledge of the Creative Industries landscape.
• Proven ability to build productive relationships across business, academia, government and investment.
• Experience securing funding, attracting investment or developing compelling propositions.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and programme management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of a long-term growth strategy for South Yorkshire's Creative Industries.
• Build partnerships with creative businesses, universities, cultural organisations, investors and public sector stakeholders.
• Identify and secure opportunities for investment, funding and collaboration.
• Champion South Yorkshire's creative strengths and represent the region at events and forums.
• Support innovation, entrepreneurship and business growth through industry-academia-investor connections.
• Lead and oversee projects delivering tangible benefits for creative businesses and communities.
