TDM Recruitment Group is assisting a privately owned strategic land business in Warrington to find a Senior Planning & Development Manager – Strategic Land. You will shape planning strategies for major residential-led sites across the UK, from promotion to consent, working closely with councils, landowners and consultants.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage complex applications, engage communities and drive opportunities while reporting to the Planning Director.

Competenze

• Degree in town planning with MRTPI membership.
• Experience in strategic land promotion with land promoters, housebuilders or consultancies.
• Strong grasp of the NPPF and plan-making processes.
• Proven track record securing allocations or planning approvals on large sites.

Mansioni

• Lead planning strategies for strategic sites through local plans and applications.
• Engage with councils, communities and policy teams.
• Coordinate consultant teams across planning, masterplanning, highways, ecology and EIA.
• Manage outline applications, Section 106 negotiations, viability and infrastructure planning.
• Lead stakeholder and community engagement with councils, parish councils and residents.
• Support land team on site appraisals, due diligence and opportunities.
• Oversee appeals strategy and support inquiries and hearings when needed.
• Manage project programmes, budgets and risks and report to senior leadership.
