Job summary

CBSbutler is seeking an experienced IT Supplier Manager to support a Digital Information function servicing sensitive MOD, aerospace and defence programmes. The role covers end-to-end supplier lifecycle management, governance, SB/SLAs and performance reviews in a hybrid Reading-based environment.

The position emphasizes strong commercial/contract experience, regulatory compliance and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

3+ years' experience in IT Supplier Management.
Strong experience developing and executing supplier strategies.
Strong commercial and contract management experience.
Experience in a highly regulated environment (Aerospace/Defence).
Understanding of IT compliance, risk and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the IT supplier strategy aligned with wider Digital Information tech strategies.
Manage end-to-end IT supplier lifecycle: identification, evaluation, procurement, contracting, performance, offboarding.
Develop supplier governance, SLAs and performance metrics.
Interface between Digital Information, Procurement, Finance, stakeholders and IT suppliers.
Support procurement activities including tenders, negotiations and renewals.
Lead supplier performance reviews ensuring SLAs and service quality meet expectations.
Monitor supplier performance and identify cost and service improvement opportunities.
