Job summary

Cencora, Inc. is seeking a Senior Principal Project Manager to lead the most complex cross-functional programs across engineering and technology. You will establish structure, governance, and execution accountability to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes aligned with business goals.

You will partner with executives and teams to manage risk, trade-offs, and delivery dependencies, delivering durable improvements and measurable value for the organization and its customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, business information technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience technical product management, technical project management, business systems analysis, or related field.
• Certifications preferred: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile/Scrum certification
• ITIL, SAFe, or other service/delivery framework certification
• Strong understanding of business principles, process modeling, and the full software development lifecycle.
• Applies structured analytical and problem-solving skills to cross-functional delivery challenges.
• Excellent communication with clients, engineering, business, and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Owns end-to-end delivery of the most complex, cross-functional technical programs, setting program structure and accountability.
• Defines technical program management standards, delivery playbooks, and governance frameworks.
• Drives scope, resource, and investment trade-off decisions to protect delivery commitments.
• Aligns executive stakeholders on program strategy, risk posture, and delivery direction.
• Identifies systemic risks and implements durable improvements to processes.
