Job summary

ID Logistics UK is seeking an experienced IT Manager in Milton Keynes to lead the development, performance and continuous improvement of our business applications and digital products portfolio. The role is based in Milton Keynes with hybrid working and requires regular travel to sites across the UK.

You will manage business-critical applications, build strong stakeholder relationships, and drive innovation, automation and digital transformation across our logistics operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT, applications, product or digital services management.
• Experience managing business-critical applications and technology platforms.
• Knowledge of WMS, EDI, logistics systems, automation or robotics.
• Strong stakeholder and supplier management skills.
• Commercial awareness and experience delivering business change.
• Logistics, warehousing or supply chain experience.
• Knowledge of AI and emerging technologies.
• Experience with data analytics and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop the business applications portfolio.
• Manage and improve WMS, EDI, automation and operational technology solutions.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers.
• Drive innovation through AI, automation and emerging technologies.
• Manage software vendors and technology partners.
• Lead application projects, upgrades and digital transformation initiatives.
• Develop technology roadmaps aligned to business goals.
• Monitor system performance, user adoption and business value.
• Support software licensing, budgeting and investment planning.
