Job summary

CPS Group is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee a multi-year cyber security programme in a regulated environment. The role involves end-to-end delivery of IT and security projects, with governance, reporting, and stakeholder management driving successful outcomes.

You will define scope, manage budgets, and coordinate internal teams with external suppliers to ensure delivery on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Degree-level education or equivalent.
• PRINCE2 or PMP qualification.
• Relevant practitioner-level project management qualification.
• ITIL experience/qualification would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) regulations would be highly desirable.
• Experience within a Cyber Resilience setting would be highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Leading and delivering IT, technology and cyber security projects end-to-end.
• Developing project plans, timelines, milestones and deliverables.
• Managing project risks, issues, dependencies and budgets.
• Working with and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Managing third-party suppliers and vendor relationships.
• Matrix-managing resources across the organisation.
• Ensuring appropriate governance and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Developing project adoption and change management plans.
• Supporting training, transition and handover into BAU.
