Job summary

The role requires 5+ years PM experience in FS, strong stakeholder management, and certification (PRINCE2 or PMP).

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead cyber security projects across multiple workstreams aligned to business objectives and governance.
• Develop and maintain project plans covering scope, timelines, budgets and resources.
• Collaborate with technology, security, risk, compliance and business teams and third-party vendors.
• Identify risks early, escalate issues and implement mitigations.
• Maintain governance artefacts like RAID logs, status reports and budget forecasts.
• Oversee testing, validation, deployment and handover to support.
• Report progress clearly to stakeholders and senior management.

Cyber Security Project Manager Financial Services London £700 P/D

We're hiring a delivery-focused Project Manager to lead key cyber security initiatives within a highly regulated financial services environment.

You'll own end-to-end delivery of strategic security programmes, including privileged access management (CyberArk), Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM) and a penetration testing programme, while keeping everything aligned to regulatory requirements, risk frameworks and information security standards.

What you'll do:

• Lead cyber security projects across multiple workstreams, aligned to business objectives and governance standards
• Build and manage project plans covering scope, timelines, budget, resources and dependencies
• Work with technology, security, risk, compliance and business teams, plus third-party vendors
• Track progress, flag risks and issues early, and manage mitigation and escalation
• Maintain governance artefacts: RAID logs, status reports, budget forecasts and steering committee materials
• Oversee testing, validation, deployment and handover to support
• Report clearly to stakeholders and senior management

What you'll bring:

• 5+ years' project management experience in financial services
• Solid grounding in cyber security principles, risk management and financial services regulation
• Strong stakeholder management at all levels
• Experience managing third-party suppliers and technology vendors
• Confident with MS Project, JIRA and Confluence
• PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent certification

Nice to have:

• Delivery experience with CyberArk and/or CLM
• Experience running penetration testing programmes
