Job summary

The Financial Conduct Authority is seeking an experienced Strategic Assessment Intelligence Analyst (FTC until 31/03/28) to join the Enforcement Intelligence and Specialist Services team. You will conduct strategic analysis of financial crime threats, consolidate diverse sources, and deliver intelligence products for regulatory decisions across UK offices, including London, Leeds and Edinburgh.

The role requires DV/SC clearance for some duties, excellent written and verbal communication, and

Qualifications

• SC clearance is required; DV clearance is advantageous.
• Experience analysing complex intelligence and data from diverse sources.
• Ability to produce strategic intelligence assessments.
• Strong internal and external stakeholder relationship management.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct strategic analysis of internal and external threats in the financial crime landscape.
• Contextualise and summarise diverse intelligence sources for analysis.
• Identify emerging threats, risks and vulnerabilities for prioritisation.
• Develop and deliver strategic assessments and intelligence reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Aggregate all-source intelligence on money laundering, fraud, AI, digital assets and sanctions evasion.
• Create high-quality analytical products tailored to diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance threat understanding and share methodologies.
• Build proactive relationships with the analytical community and multi-agency teams.
