A leading company in healthcare services is seeking a Strategic Insights Analyst in London. This role will drive data analytics initiatives to enhance decision-making and collaboration across the organization. Strategic Insights Analyst – ClarusOne London
Role Summary
The Strategic Insights Analyst is a key role in the development, and integration of data analytics and strategic insights necessary for supporting the longer-term vision, strategies, objectives, and goals of the business. This role has the responsibility to drive key data analytics capabilities of ClarusONE, which underpin business decision making and enable the integration of analytics capability within ClarusONE’s technology solutions.
This role requires strong communication skills with proven ability to analyse, interpret, and report data along with strong negotiation and relationship building skills. In addition, this role will actively partner with relevant ClarusONE business functions to align and support execution of strategic insight initiatives, transformational data requirements, and data science led project execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Work proactively and cross functionally across the business to develop initiatives that deliver value to ClarusONE members using advanced analytics and insight.
• Leverage analytical capabilities, problem solving skills and with proven ability to make recommendations based on data
• Partner with ClarusONE commercial teams to promote the development and ongoing ownership of advanced analytics solutions to drive strategic decision making
•Demonstrate the ability to independently and quickly identify solutions to complex problems through the use of data driven insights
•Communicate learnings to a wide range of audiences, including leadership positions – influencing strategic initiatives and business decisions
Support the creation and ongoing management of data and analytics solutions which support the reduction in supply risk linked to regulation, manufacturing constraints, market dynamics and supplier financial stability.
Work with the product delivery and programme management team to scope, develop and embed (advanced) analytics and strategic insight capability within the technology platform.
• Support the development and ongoing ownership of supplier and product segmentation's to support strategic decision making.
• Support the development of ‘next best action’ analytics solutions, to empower a greater degree of sourcing effort towards pro-active product and supplier management.
Basic Requirements
• Bachelors degree (Masters or PhD preferable) in Mathematics or a heavily quantitative field
Strong commercial mindset, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations showcasing consistent creative problem-solving capabilities
• Track record of making proactive, strategic recommendations based on data analysis.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal, flexible and adaptive to changes in the business.
• Experience in applied analytics for business problem solving with proven ability to research, analyse and problem solve.
• 5 years’ + experience in a senior analyst / insight manager type role – preferably in a large retail or sourcing organisation
• Advanced data analysis skills (SQL and Python required) and visualisation skills (e.g. Tableau and ThoughtSpot),
• Organisational and project management skills are critical using a consultative approach.
Preferred Requirements
• Experience in the healthcare field, preferably in generic pharmaceuticals (sales, purchasing or distribution) preferred
• Experience of cloud-based data solutions such as Snowflake R, Python or another core data science language is preferable
• Specific Experience in applied analytics such as: analytics solutions for pricing, segmentation, A/B testing, risk modelling
• Knowledge of retail pharmaceutical products and program offerings a plus.
• Knowledge of retail / pharmaceutical supply chain risk and / or experience of developing analytics risk models would be an advantage
