Job summary

Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust in West Bromwich is recruiting a Group Information Governance Manager to provide senior IG SME, and to manage delivery for both SWB NHS Trust and The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust.

The role will lead on data protection, DSPT, and IG strategy implementation, deputising for the Group Head of IG where needed, including DPO duties. Strong cross-organisational collaboration and advisory capacity are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Information Governance/Data Protection within a complex organisation.
• Experience managing or supervising staff.
• Experience working across organisational boundaries or partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior and strategic information governance subject matter expertise.
• Oversee operational management and delivery of the Information Governance function for both Trusts.
• Lead on DSPT evidence collection and submission.
• Plan and deliver IG work programmes in line with priorities.
• Support development of IG strategy and frameworks.
