Job summary

W Talent is supporting a well-established, multi-site organisation in appointing a Category Manager to join its central procurement function. You will develop and deliver sourcing and category strategies across allocated spend categories, managing activity from requirements through tender, negotiation, and supplier handover, with strong stakeholder engagement across the business.

The role requires proven experience in indirect procurement, structured tendering, and contract negotiations.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering sourcing projects and structured tender processes.
• Experience developing tender documentation, specifications and KPIs.
• Strong negotiation and commercial skills.
• Experience managing multiple procurement projects against tight deadlines.
• Understanding of contract negotiation and engagement with Legal teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver sourcing and category strategies across allocated spend categories.
• Manage procurement activity from requirements through to tender, negotiation, implementation and handover.
• Collaborate with senior and operational colleagues across the organisation.
• Support cross-functional teams to optimise value and supplier performance.
