Job summary

Alpine Racing Limited is seeking an experienced Indirect Buyer to join our procurement team in the UK. You will manage strategic supplier relationships, develop category strategies, and source technical goods and services across engineering, facilities and operations to support a high-performance environment.

The role requires proven indirect procurement experience, strong negotiation and supplier management skills, and the ability to analyse spend data to drive measurable commercial benefits

Qualifications

• Experience in indirect procurement across technical, engineering, R&D, CapEx, facilities or complex service categories.
• Strong category management and strategic sourcing experience.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Ability to analyse spend and market data to identify opportunities and drive results.
• Experience delivering measurable commercial benefits and reducing supply risk.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence constructively.
• Proficient in D365, Microsoft Office 365, and AI-powered tools.
• CIPS qualification or progress towards it is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing across technical and facilities categories.
• Develop and implement category strategies to improve value and resilience.
• Conduct market analysis, supplier assessments, and tenders.
• Negotiate contracts and terms and conditions.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance reviews and KPIs.
• Drive cost savings, supplier consolidation and risk reduction.
• Support stakeholders with procurement expertise through projects.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with governance.
