Job summary

Harris Federation in the UK seeks a Strategic HR Business Partner to join the central HR team. The role shapes people strategy across 5,000 colleagues and 40,000 pupils, driving large-scale initiatives such as workforce planning, organisational design, pay and reward, and culture change.

Working with senior leaders, you will translate ambitions into tangible outcomes, acting as a trusted strategic advisor and delivering meaningful change across our federation of academies.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience as a senior HRBP or HR Manager in a large multi-site organisation.
• Proven track record leading complex organisational change projects with measurable outcomes.
• Experience of Pay & Reward change programmes and organisational design.
• Strategic thinker who translates workforce data into practical recommendations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and the credibility to challenge senior leaders constructively.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale or complex people programmes across multiple academies, owning strategy, risk management and stakeholder alignment.
• Design the approach to consultation and change management, setting a framework for local HRBPs.
• Identify opportunities to modernise HR ways of working and shape the HR operating model.
• Represent HR at senior levels in cross-functional discussions, ensuring workforce implications are included.
