This is an exciting opportunity to join Tameside Council at a pivotal point in our improvement and transformation journey. As our HROD Business Partner for Children's and Education Services, you will support one of the Council's most significant and high-profile service areas, partnering with senior leaders to shape workforce strategy, strengthen organisational capability and enable excellent outcomes for children, young people and families.
Working as a trusted strategic partner to senior leaders, you will help navigate complex organisational challenges, influence decision-making and create the conditions for high performance, inclusion and innovation. You'll work across a broad range of people, workforce and organisational priorities, supporting leaders to think differently, embrace change and develop sustainable solutions that improve both workforce and service outcomes.
This is a role for a credible and influential HROD professional who combines strategic thinking with practical delivery. You'll bring professional curiosity, sound judgement and the confidence to provide constructive challenge, helping leaders balance immediate operational demands with longer-term organisational success. Supporting one of the Council's largest and most complex directorates, you will work with leaders across Children's Social Care, Education, Early Help and Inclusion Services to deliver workforce and organisational solutions that support improved outcomes for children, young people and families. Operating within a continually evolving environment, you will play a key role in helping services respond to changing demands, build organisational resilience and develop the workforce capability needed for future success.
