Job summary

Alexander Steele Recruitment works with a growing food manufacturing business in Hertfordshire, seeking an experienced HR Business Partner. You will partner with managers and senior stakeholders across the site to support day-to-day people issues and lead key HR projects.

The role emphasizes recruitment, organisational change, talent development, EDI, wellbeing and HR project delivery, with a visible, commercially focused approach and strong relationship building.

Qualifications

• A strong HR generalist background with experience at HRBP level or similar.
• Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and ER practices.
• Proven ability to influence managers and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, commercially focused HR support to managers across the site.
• Coach managers on employee relations, absence and performance matters.
• Lead organisational change, restructures and redundancy processes.
• Own recruitment activity from attraction to onboarding across the site.
• Support performance reviews, succession planning and talent development.
• Deliver HR projects to improve the employee experience and ways of working.
• Support engagement, wellbeing, equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives.
• Analyze HR data to inform people decisions and trends.
