Lancashire County Council is seeking an experienced Principal Housing Officer to lead School Place Planning and the countywide Developer Education Contribution Programme. The post focuses on aligning housing growth with educational infrastructure and ensuring sufficient school places across Lancashire.

You’ll provide strategic leadership, engage with authorities and developers, and manage financial and project delivery to support Local Plans and major developments.

• Substantial experience in planning, education infrastructure, housing growth or development management.
• Experience leading complex programmes and prioritising competing demands.
• Strong governance and financial oversight capabilities.

• Lead the Council's education developer contribution programme and secure school place sufficiency.
