Job summary

Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a high-profile research and implementation programme aimed at reducing inequalities in access to eye care across London. You will coordinate multiple workstreams, develop robust plans, monitor progress, and report to funders and partners.

The role requires strong governance, risk management and financial oversight, with collaboration across NHS, academic and commissioning partners.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field and/or project management qualification.
• Experience delivering complex healthcare, research or public sector projects.
• Knowledge of NHS governance and regulatory processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day management and delivery of a multi-partner research and implementation programme.
• Develop, maintain and monitor project plans with milestones and budgets.
• Coordinate governance, Steering Group meetings and action tracking.
• Build relationships with clinical, academic, commissioning and community stakeholders.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies and RAID logs, escalating as needed.
• Oversee governance, research and information governance compliance.
• Support service improvement initiatives across participating sites.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities including PPIE representatives.
• Monitor performance, produce dashboards and reports for funders and partners.
• Manage project finances including budget, expenditure and grant claims.
• Support DPIAs, DSAs and ethics approvals where required for programme delivery.
• Collaborate across organisations to ensure sustainable programme outcomes.
