Job summary

London Gatwick is seeking a Head of Procurement to shape the airport's commercial future. You will lead a transformed procurement function across capital and operational spend, managing around £500m annual expenditure and the full contract lifecycle.

Reporting to the Deputy CFO, you will unify procurement, drive value for money, governance, and supplier relationships, while leading a team of circa 16 FTE in a hybrid office setting.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading strategic procurement in large, complex environments.
• Experience delivering procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts and UK construction supply chain is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver long-term Procurement and Supply Chain Strategy.
• Lead unified procurement across capital and operational spend.
• Develop category strategies to maximise value for money and efficiency.
• Strengthen governance and procurement compliance; simplify processes.
• Build strategic supplier relationships for resilience and value.
• Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team.
• Represent Gatwick with suppliers and industry partners; influence market practice.
