Secure Trust Bank PLC is recruiting for a Head of Liquidity to shape and deliver the Group’s liquidity strategy and risk management across the business. You will lead strategy, funding optimisation, and regulatory engagement at a senior level in a hybrid Solihull/London role.

You will oversee reporting, stress testing, and the ILAAP/L-SREP frameworks, while developing the Group Funding Plan and ensuring alignment with growth ambitions and risk appetite.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in liquidity and funding management within a UK retail banking environment at senior manager or head level.
• Deep expertise in liquidity risk management, funding strategies, stress testing and balance sheet management.
• Proven experience delivering ILAAPs with knowledge of key regulatory metrics including LCR and NSFR.
• Strong understanding of UK prudential regulatory framework and regulator engagement.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leadership and external partners.
• Collaborative and strategic leader capable of balancing long-term planning with delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of liquidity and funding risks and support the Treasurer in delivering objectives.
• Oversee daily/weekly/monthly liquidity reporting and management information.
• Develop and implement liquidity risk tools, frameworks and reporting capabilities.
• Own the Group’s ILAAP and L-SREP processes, including stress testing and regulatory engagement.
• Develop and deliver the Group Funding Plan aligned with strategy and risk appetite.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with prudential requirements (ILAAP, Recovery Plan, Resolution Pack).
• Refine the Bank’s liquidity and funding risk appetite, policies and governance.
• Manage portfolio of liquid assets and investment strategy to optimise liquidity.
• Contribute to treasury strategy, capital markets initiatives, committee governance and funding projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with regulators and senior stakeholders while developing the treasury team.
