Job summary

NHS England is seeking a Head of Finance to lead the South Finance team’s financial reporting and analysis. You will oversee reporting for the South East region, ensuring timely, accurate financial information and developing best practices in reporting.

You will manage a small team, provide strategic insights to directors, and act as subject matter expert on national reporting changes, enabling triangulation of financial performance with other assurance sources.

Qualifications

• CCAB or CIMA qualified with up-to-date membership.
• Experience in financial reporting within a complex organisation.
• Ability to lead and develop a finance team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the regional financial reporting and analysis function.
• Ensure timetables for regional and national reporting are met.
• Provide strategic reports and briefings for directors and stakeholders.
