Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Ltd is supporting a high-growth, international aerospace-like business in South Wales to recruit a Head of Finance. This role leads the finance function, shaping financial strategy and governance while partnering with the CEO and Board on critical commercial decisions.

The successful candidate will drive FP&A, IFRS reporting, risk management and transformation initiatives within a global group, managing a small finance team and delivering ACCA/CPA-credentialed leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior finance leadership roles.
• Strong strategic and commercial finance capabilities.
• Experience working with boards and executive teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as strategic partner to CEO, leadership team and Board.
• Lead Annual Operating Plan, budgeting and forecasting.
• Provide profitability, cash flow and performance analysis.
• Oversee IFRS reporting and group reporting standards.
• Manage accounting operations including treasury, tax and cash.
• Drive controls, governance, audit readiness and risk management.
• Guide enterprise risk management and internal controls.
• Support major investments, pricing, CAPEX projects and business cases.
• Develop and lead a finance team of ~5 people.
• Drive continuous improvement in finance processes and systems.
• Lead integration and transformation within a global group.
