Role description:
The Arcadis UK Environmental Planning Discipline is a mature part of the wider Environmental and Sustainability / Resilience business and is seen as a key part of the growth opportunities across the Global Business Areas.
We require a Senior Technical Director with a strong track record of leading the environmental and consenting aspects of complex major projects, with particular focus on the Defence and / or Nuclear. Our projects span all consenting regimes, all sectors and all phases of the project life cycle from needs case development through to construction. The successful candidate will have proven experience of delivering successful consenting strategies and producing robust and high-quality EIAs as well as driving excellent collaboration with design teams that drive project success.

Role accountabilities:
The role of the Strategic Growth director will be to develop, lead and support growth into key growth sectors across Environment and Sustainability, in adjacent and established markets focusing on (but not exclusively) Nuclear, working collaboratively and closely with the wider Arcadis. The Strategic Growth Director reports directly to the Environmental Planning Business Director.
