Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd is seeking a Group Tax Manager to establish and lead the in-house tax function during significant growth. You will oversee all aspects of tax compliance, including corporation tax and VAT, while supporting acquisition activities and ensuring a well-controlled tax framework.

The role requires a professional tax qualification with strong experience in multi-entity organizations. Collaborating closely with senior leadership, you'll build effective relationships to support business growth and development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a complex, multi-entity organization.
• Ability to operate strategically and operationally.
• Experience managing external tax advisers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Group's end-to-end tax agenda.
• Oversee corporation tax compliance and reporting.
• Build strong working relationships across Finance, HR, and operational teams.

Skills

Professional tax qualification (CTA or equivalent)

Strong UK tax technical knowledge

Experience in a complex, multi-entity organization

Understanding of corporation tax, VAT, partnership tax

Stakeholder management and communication skills
