Job summary

T H White Group is seeking a Senior Group Procurement Manager to define and implement a strategic, commercially focused procurement approach across the group. The role involves developing the procurement strategy, improving processes and delivering cost savings with visibility across diverse engineering sectors.

Location is UK-based with hybrid working; candidates must be authorised to work in the UK without sponsorship. Senior salary based on experience, with annual pay reviews.

Qualifications

• CIPS qualification is required (senior procurement).
• Experience in industrial, machinery, engineering or manufacturing sectors preferred.
• Proven track record in supplier selection, tendering and contract negotiation.
• Strong negotiation, influencing and supplier relationship management skills.
• Ability to work with stakeholders across multiple businesses and functions.

Responsibilities

• Analyse spend across the Group to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Source, evaluate and select suppliers ensuring quality and delivery.
• Lead quotation, tendering and contract negotiation processes.
• Build and monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand demand and priorities.
• Monitor market trends and supply risks to support decisions.
• Establish procurement processes, controls and records compliant with regs.
