Job summary

South Staffordshire Plc in the West Midlands is seeking a Group Director of Procurement & Supply Chain to join its senior leadership team and shape the Group's procurement, supply chain and commercial governance strategy across diverse businesses. • Significant senior procurement leadership experience within a large, multi-site organisation.
• Proven track record of procurement transformation and value creation programmes.
• Extensive strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management expertise.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Experience leading and inspiring high-performing teams with Board interaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the Group Procurement Strategy.
• Lead category and sourcing strategies to maximise value and leverage Group scale.
• Drive procurement excellence across all Group businesses and governance activities.
• Create a resilient, sustainable supply chain and manage supplier performance.
• Embed ESG and responsible procurement practices across the Group.
• Lead, coach and develop procurement teams and engage executive stakeholders.
