Job summary

Hudson Shribman is seeking a Procurement Director in North West England to lead group‑wide procurement strategy across multi‑site manufacturing. The role reports to the CEO and focuses on cost reduction, supplier consolidation, governance, and value creation across packaging inputs.

The ideal candidate will balance strategic leadership with hands‑on delivery, build robust global supply chains, and drive sustainability and risk management across the business.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in procurement across multi-site manufacturing.
• Deep knowledge of packaging materials and related supply chains.
• Proven track record of delivering cost savings and procurement transformation.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management across regional and global bases.
• Hands-on leader who can balance strategy with delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a group-wide procurement strategy aligned to growth, operational performance and margin improvement.
• Own procurement strategy across a multi-entity manufacturing group.
• Drive cost reduction, supplier consolidation and commercial value creation.
• Establish governance, processes and performance frameworks.
• Lead sustainability initiatives and supplier risk management.
