Job summary

Circle Recruitment is seeking a Communications Officer for a government client in West Burton. The role is office-based 3 days a week with remote work the remaining days. It is an initial contract until 31/03, with a daily rate of £300–£350 Inside IR35.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification with communications experience and project lead capability.
• Experience organising community or stakeholder events.
• Experience in complex, matrixed environments with CMS use.
• Understanding of government structures and local/regional roles.
• CIPR qualified or similar communications qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead on content for social media and events with quick turnarounds.
• Manage digital channels and engage audiences across platforms.
• Coordinate community and stakeholder events and briefs.
• Represent the programme as an ambassador in communications.
• Support delivery on infrastructure and Development Consent Orders.
