Job summary

National Trust in Wales is seeking a strategic General Manager for the Carmarthenshire & Ceredigion Property Group. You will lead teams and volunteers across a diverse portfolio including Dinefwr, Llanerchaeron and Dolaucothi, driving performance, partnerships and sustainable income generation.

You will shape the future direction of National Trust Cymru, provide visible leadership, manage budgets and risk, and collaborate with communities, public bodies and stakeholders to keep places

Qualifications

• Proven experience of leading diverse teams and delivering ambitious outcomes.
• Excellent communication and engagement skills with the ability to inspire trust and share a clear vision.
• Collaborative leadership style bringing together communities, partners and stakeholders around shared goals.
• Strategic and operational leadership including budgeting, risk management and performance delivery.
• Commercially minded with experience in business planning, income generation and sustainable growth.
• Experience leading through change and transformation while maintaining delivery focus.
• Ability to build relationships with local communities, volunteers and external partners.
• Welsh language skills at Level 2 with plan to reach Level 3 within 12 months.
