Job summary

Space is seeking a motivated Fundraising Development Officer to join the Marketing and Fundraising team. The role is based in Exeter with a salary of £31,015 - £33,119 and a 37-hour week, permanent contract.

The post holder will focus on increasing income from non-governmental sources, building relationships, and developing Space’s fundraising strategy across trusts, foundations, corporates, and individuals.

Qualifications

• Track record of demonstrable success in a paid fundraising role across community and/or corporate fundraising.
• Exceptional storytelling and communication skills to engage diverse audiences.
• Top-tier organisational, administrative and record-keeping abilities.
• Own transport with a valid driver's license to travel between sites and occasional evenings/weekends.
• Positive, collaborative team player able to inspire others and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Increase income from non-governmental sources and develop Space's fundraising strategy.
• Build relationships and secure funding from trusts, foundations, corporates and individuals.
• Lead fundraising campaigns, events and donor stewardship activities.
• Collaborate with the Marketing and Fundraising team to maximise impact and visibility.
