Job summary

The CFO HQ is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to join the finance team in London on a 9-month maternity cover contract. Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will lead budgeting, forecasting and management reporting to support strategic decision-making across the insurance business.

You will develop robust financial models, provide variance analysis and partner with operations to drive performance, while delivering Board-level and Executive reporting.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Previous FP&A experience within the insurance sector
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis expertise
• Advanced financial modelling skills to build and enhance complex models
• Experience producing Board-level and Executive-level reporting
• Advanced Excel skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes
• Deliver insightful monthly management information and performance reporting
• Develop and maintain robust financial models to support commercial and strategic decisions
• Provide detailed variance analysis and financial commentary for senior stakeholders
• Partner with operational and finance teams to drive performance and identify opportunities
• Support annual planning cycles and long-term financial planning activities
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership teams
