Job summary

Wickes is seeking a Senior Finance Manager with FP&A expertise to own cash flow forecasting, reporting, and strategic partnering for Wickes Solar and the Support Centre. In this 15-month FTC role, you will lead a small team, partner with the CFO and PLC Board, deliver high-quality insights, and drive efficiency across the business. You will influence decisions with robust financial analysis and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent.
• Experience in cash flow modelling and a deep understanding of P&L and balance sheets.
• Excellent storytelling with data and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Calm, organised, and capable of handling multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Inspirational leadership with energy and drive to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Create, drive and own cash flow forecasting and reporting for the business.
• Provide commercial insight and strategic guidance to Wickes Solar and the Support Centre.
• Support Investor Relations Director and CFO with financial data for investor materials and results.
• Lead and mentor one analyst to meet deadlines and maintain high standards.
