United Kingdom National Nuclear Laboratory (UKNNL) is seeking a Financial Planning Analyst to coordinate budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning across the business. You will build financial models, analyse data and provide timely recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in financial modelling and reporting.
• Part qualified with CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent.
• Strong planning and analytical skills.
• Experience in complex financial analysis, modelling and forecasting.
• Highly numerate with advanced Excel skills.
• Experience handling large data volumes.
• Proactive problem solving and teamwork.
• Process improvement mindset; adaptable to change.
• Ability to obtain BPSS security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the budget and forecast processes across the business areas.
• Consolidate budgets, strategic plans, and cash flows.
• Build and maintain financial models for budgets and forecasts.
• Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic plans and initiatives.
• Provide analytical support to senior finance leaders.
• Maintain internal costing for all resources.
• Ad hoc analysis and project work.
