Job summary

United Kingdom National Nuclear Laboratory Limited (UKNNL) invites applicants for a 12-month secondment to the finance team as Accountant at grade 4C. The role supports budgeting, forecasting, month-end, and financial reporting for multiple budget holders.

As a functional advisor, you will provide finance services, build external reports for customers, assist with tenders, and present monthly finance information to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Essential criteria: a financial qualification.
• Ability to obtain SC level security clearance (this includes identity, employment, financial and criminal record checks plus 5 years’ worth of UK residency).

Responsibilities

• Providing finance support to project managers.
• Complete financial month end processes.
• Financial Reporting on a monthly basis.
• Providing support on financial weekly reporting.
• Presenting finance information monthly to stakeholders.
• Supporting Senior Accountant with ad hoc queries.
• Development of external financial reports for customers.
• Help cost up customer tenders with Account Directors and Project Managers.
