Job summary

National Trust is seeking a Financial Performance and Insight Analyst to join the Financial Insight and Planning Team. The role supports Executive and Board decisions through high‑quality reporting, forecasting and strategic insight, using Excel, Tableau or Power BI to translate complex data into clear guidance.

Based at our Finance Service Centre in Trowbridge, you will work a minimum of two days per week on site, with scope to work remotely or at another National Trust location on other days.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of finance systems and management accounting
• Proven ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insight
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with high accuracy

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of high‑quality, Trust-wide financial reporting, forecasting and strategic insight
• Own key reporting processes and advise senior stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement in financial insight capabilities
• Support informed decision making for property, places and outdoor spaces
