Job summary

State Street Alpha Data Implementation organization seeks an Implementation Business Analyst with subject matter expertise across financial instrument types and Asset Management Data Domains. You will articulate business requirements, map data, and support data ingestion for client engagements.

You will work with clients, data, and technology leads to drive enhancements, define data standards, and ensure successful data onboarding across Front, Middle and Back Office domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• 5+ years experience with investment accounting, portfolio management, investment operations, or financial data across asset classes.
• Experience supporting software implementation projects in financial services.
• Good understanding of investment management operating models and the data lifecycle.
• Strong data analysis and data mapping skills, including source-to-target mappings.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the integration of new data services and sources by gathering requirements and testing features.
• Collaborate with Client Implementation Team to plan delivery and estimate projects.
• Guide clients on reference data setups and mapping during initial implementations.
• Define standards for data ingestion, enrichment and validation of client portfolio data.
