Job summary

Michael Page Finance is recruiting an experienced Financial Controller for a privately owned Leeds-based group. You will own a broad finance function, drive reporting improvements, strengthen controls, and provide commercial insights to senior leadership.

Key duties include monthly management accounts across multiple entities, P&L and balance sheet reviews, cash flow forecasting, year-end statutory accounts, audits, budgeting, KPI reporting, and process automation.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with strong management reporting experience.
• Experience leading financial control in a multi-entity environment.
• Excellent Excel and MS Office skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts across multiple group entities.
• Review P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting with commentary.
• Produce board reporting packs with commercial analysis for decision making.
• Own weekly cash flow forecasting and assist with budgeting processes.
• Coordinate year-end statutory accounts and liaise with auditors.
