Volunteer Cardiff is seeking a new Treasurer to oversee financial health and governance as a key member of our board. The ideal candidate will steer our financial strategy, ensuring our charity remains effective and impactful.

The Treasurer will work closely with the Director and Chair, providing oversight on budgeting, risk management, and working collaboratively with external accountants. Previous finance experience is required, ideally with exposure to charity finance.

Qualifications

• Active or recently retired finance professional.
• Experience in charity finance is a bonus.
• Hands-on and collaborative attitude.

• Monitor and report on the charity's financial health.
• Oversee internal accounts and financial controls.
• Help develop financial policies and advise on strategic plans.
