HS2 Ltd is looking for a Finance Business Partner to provide assurance, challenge, and cost control across directorates. You will support effective decision making with robust financial oversight of direct and indirect costs.

The role emphasizes governance, month-end close, year-end planning, and delivery of accurate forecasting, while embedding Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in all activities.

Competenze

• Qualified Accountant with experience operating in a complex environment.
• Knowledge of Government accounting requirements (DEL/AME funding) to ensure compliance of business plans.
• Experience delivering finance business support to programme teams and directorates.

Mansioni

• Provides guidance on the application of governance within area.
• Acting as the CFO’s representative at monthly review meetings.
• Review and financial endorsement of Change and Investment Papers, challenging risks/opportunities and ensuring costs are recorded.
• Representative on investment change panels.
• Providing assurance that reported expenditure and contract payments are appropriate.
• Oversee the month end financial accounts close and year-end audit planning.
