Durham University is seeking a Finance Business Partner to provide high-quality strategic financial support and challenge to senior leaders. You will work closely with budget holders to inform planning, investment appraisal and longer-term financial sustainability in a hybrid, Boldon House environment.

The role requires acting as a strategic adviser, translating complex data into actionable insights and collaborating across Strategic Finance and the wider University to embed financial thinking

Qualificações

• Qualified accountant with experience in a senior finance role operating at a strategic level.
• Experience of providing specialist advice and guidance to customers and colleagues, including more senior colleagues.
• Experience of budgeting and forecasting, turning complex data into actionable insights.
• Experience in business partnering and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders with financial information.
• Strong digital competence across Microsoft 365 and financial/non-financial systems.

• Build strong relationships with budget holders and stakeholders to support planning, investment appraisal and scenario modelling.
• Translate complex financial information into meaningful insight to inform decision making.
