Job summary

Klipboard is seeking a seasoned Finance Business Partner to act as a strategic advisor to operational and commercial teams in the UK. You will translate financial insights into actionable guidance and help shape performance across departments.

The role covers budgeting, forecasting, KPI review, cost management and broader financial planning, with a focus on partnering to drive profitability and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; professional accounting qualification preferred.
• 7+ years in finance roles, with at least 3 years in business partnering.
• Strong financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting skills; proficiency in Excel and financial systems.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Business Partnering: Collaborate with department heads and senior managers to provide financial insights that guide decision‑making.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze revenues, costs, and profitability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Ongoing review and evaluation of KPI’s.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead budgeting and forecasting processes; provide variance analysis and insights.
• Performance Management: Monitor KPIs, conduct variance analysis, and recommend actions to improve performance.
• Strategic Support: Develop financial models for long‑term planning and assess viability of new initiatives.
• Cost Management: Work with managers to control costs and identify savings opportunities.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Present financial reports and insights to senior leadership clearly.
• Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to financial processes and reporting.
• Project Support: Provide financial input for projects, including cost‑benefit analysis and post‑implementation reviews.
