Job summary

Leeds Building Society is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to support our Core transformation programme, providing clear financial insight, challenge and decision support to senior leaders.

You will translate complex financial information into actionable recommendations, shape financial plans and forecasts, and help with business cases, benefits realisation and strong financial controls while collaborating across Finance and the wider Society.

Qualifications

• Qualified or nearly qualified accountant, with strong financial planning, forecasting and performance management experience.
• Strong analytical skills, including confidence using Excel and business intelligence tools to turn data into meaningful insight.
• Experience using finance systems, and producing clear reports and presentations for senior audiences.
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence, challenge and support senior leaders.
• Commercial curiosity and the ability to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend practical action and support effective decision-making.
• A collaborative, continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to work across Finance and the wider Society.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted strategic partner to senior leaders of the Core transformation programme, providing clear financial insight, constructive challenge and decision support.
• Translate complex financial information into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership teams, committees and governance forums.
• Support business cases, change initiatives and benefits realisation, while maintaining strong financial controls and helping us continually improve how we work.
