Job summary

SSP Deutschland GmbH is seeking a Finance Business Partner to support two Operations Directors across its UK & Ireland operations. You will provide financial insight, challenge, and support to drive EBIT and profitability, translating numbers into actionable actions for the business.

You will lead forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis, coach a Finance Analyst, and partner with operational teams to identify profit improvements and efficiency gains across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance or FP&A.
• Strong communication and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Experience forecasting, budgeting and performance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary finance partner to two Operations Directors and support objectives.
• Provide robust financial insight and commercial challenge to drive performance.
• Build relationships with operational leadership to improve sales, gross profit, labour productivity and EBIT.
• Identify and deliver profit improvement initiatives across the estate.
• Translate results into actionable operational recommendations.
• Participate in regular business reviews with stakeholders.
• Create the annual budget and quarterly forecasts for Sales, Profit and Labour.
• Support long-range planning processes.
• Deliver timely financial analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Develop forecasting models and planning tools to improve accuracy.
• Produce and present weekly and monthly performance reporting to senior management.
• Commentary on drivers vs budget/forecast/prior year.
• Monitor KPIs and highlight risks/opportunities with action plans.
• Directly coach and develop one Finance Analyst.
• Drive reporting automation and finance transformation initiatives.
